My favourite turmeric recipes.

My family and I go through so much turmeric, in fact we’ve just run out and its inspired me to share with you why we love it so much and a couple of recipes to help you incorporate into your diet daily!

Turmeric isn’t just an amazing spice to incorporate into your diet if you’re on a weightloss journey, it has so many other benefits. The main active component of turmeric and the one that gives the spice its yellow colour — is curcumin. “Curcumin is a natural antioxidant that has anti-inflammatory benefits, as well as other benefits related to slowing the aging process and preventing Alzheimer's disease and potentially depression,” says San Diego, California–based Elizabeth Ann Shaw, RDN, owner of Shaw’s Simple Swaps Consulting.

Slowing ageing and make me happier??? Yes please! Not only does turmeric slow down the signs of aging but it also;

  1. Is an anti Inflammatory

  2. Boosts your immune system

  3. Improves Brain health

  4. Prevents tooth decay

  5. Reduces the risk of heart disease

  6. Reduces symptoms of depression

Here are my go to recipes you can incorporate into your life regularly without having to cook a curry everyday.
